63-year-old Swiss chocolate shop to open first Western Canadian location in Metro Vancouver

Metro Vancouver is about to get a little bit sweeter, because we just received word that a new Swiss chocolatier is gearing up to open its first-ever Western Canadian storefront right here in Richmond.
Läderach confirmed to Dished that it is preparing to open a location in CF Richmond Centre. Its next closest location to Vancouver is in Toronto.
For those unfamiliar with the brand, Läderach was founded in 1962, initially operating as a supplier to select Swiss chocolate shops. Since then, it has expanded to open over 200 storefronts all across the globe. It’s best known for its selection of chocolates freshly made in Switzerland with premium ingredients.
While details for this new location are still to come, Läderach shared it expects to open this location in late August. Be sure to check back here for more details soon.
