La Taqueria's Hastings location is getting a makeover this month
One of Vancouver’s busiest taco spots, La Taqueria on Hastings Street, just announced they are temporarily closing to spruce the little space up in a big way.
The Gastown eatery will be shutting down operation on November 24 until January 2018 in order to get a major refresh. Changes will include adding “new personality into the space”, so we can surely anticipate some major cosmetic changes (and less graffiti) to the small but mighty food purveyor.

To celebrate this new look for the new year, the eatery will be offering select tacos at 2-for-1 prices from 2 to 5 pm on November 24, their last day of service in the old space.
This deal includes eight different tacos – Carnitas, Al Pastor, Tinga de Pollo and Pescado – as well as all vegetarian varieties.
While you’re patiently waiting for La Taq’s Hastings location to reopen, you can hit up the four other spots in the family of restaurants which include Cambie, Hornby, North Vancouver, and Victoria restaurants.
