Keanu Reeves coming to Vancouver this summer, but not to film a movie

Keanu Reeves, Canadian icon and one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, is coming to Vancouver this summer, but you won’t be seeing him on a film set.
The four-time MTV Movie Award winner is joining forces with his band Dogstar to bring the All In Now tour to Vogue Theatre on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The tour is in support of the ’90s grunge band’s latest album of the same name, which was released this spring. Fans of Reeves and the band can get tickets to the Vancouver concert now.

For those who didn’t know, the Toronto-raised Reeves formed Dogstar with fellow actor and musician Robert Mailhouse after they met at a grocery store and became friends. Reeves’ main positions in the band are bassist and backup vocalist.
The band released two albums: Our Little Visionary in 1996 and Happy Ending in 2000. They split up in 2002 and reunited in 2023 at the BottleRock festival in California.
“North America! We’re so excited for our upcoming tour that we’re adding more dates,” said Dogstar in a social media post.

The Matrix and John Wick star has an extensive resume beyond the music stage as well.
In 2024, Keanu Reeves signed a one-day contract with the OHL’s Windsor Spitfires on Thursday, rekindling his childhood dream of being an OHL goalie.
The Spitfires announced his signing in style, sharing photos on social media of the legend in their jersey, smiling wide as he put pen to paper.
The famously wholesome movie star also autographed a bunch of memorabilia, which were all auctioned off with 100 per cent of the proceeds benefiting the Canadian Mental Health Association in Windsor.
