Located in the heart of Lower Londsdale, JOEY Shipyards will be right on the waterfront and will feature stunning panoramic views of Vancouver Harbour, the kind you want to sit in front of for hours on end.
Luckily, the new JOEY location will have two levels, and both will have spacious outdoor patios for when you’re in one of those sip-and-savour-the-scenery kind of moods.
You’ll have to wait until it’s finished in 2018, but they’ve already started construction.
This is the first North Shore location for the group, and it will be the sixth location in BC joining the Burnaby, Broadway, Coquitlam, Burrard, Kelowna, and Bentall One restaurants.
The JOEY Shipyards will be the bottom two levels of a new accommodation called Executive Hotels, part of the new commercial/public space development called the Lot 5 Development.
The restaurant is located in front of Pinnacle Hotel, beside Tap and Barrel, and just above the area where the lively Shipyards Night Market takes place.
Patrons can expect a sleek and modern open concept space and decor for the shipyards location, including a large central bar and a a theatre-style kitchen so you can always check out what this spot’s chefs are cooking up.
This restaurant will add even more vibrancy to the North Shore waterfront, and considering it’s about a two minute walk from the Lonsdale Quay SeaBus, we foresee some field trips over the water to snag a spot at this new culinary destination come 2018.
