Rare ice floes formed on the Fraser River this week (PHOTOS)

While this latest round of winter weather on the West Coast is the worst snow pattern since 2008 according to The Weather Network, it has also made for some pretty unique scenes around our region.

Yes, snow covered streets, stuck buses, and sledding children are all in the mix, but other scenes are cropping up as well – like rare ice flows on the Fraser River.
