Vancouver Canucks goaltender Braden Holtby has another mask featuring Indigenous artwork ready to go.

This mask, which features an eagle on it, is another collaboration between contemporary Coast Salish artist Luke Marston and David Gunnarsson, an artist from Sweden who specializes in goalie mask designs. Marston and Gunnarsson previously collaborated on a mask for Holtby showcasing “the legend of the orcas and the wolves,” which Holtby debuted earlier this season.

Marston uploaded photos of their latest creation on his Instagram account, referring to it as an “away mask.”

The back of the mask features “tail feathers of the eagle with a human face,” Marston said.

“Can’t wait to see this one all geared up and in a game.”
