Beloved Hong Kong-style BBQ joint reopens doors in Metro Vancouver

Dec 9 2019, 7:00 pm

While there are tons of new restaurants opening in Metro Vancouver every day, we can’t deny the old favourites that keep us coming back for more.

HK BBQ Master is one of those spots that’s loved by locals and visitors alike.

A true favourite of folks in the area, people flock to the downtown Richmond restaurant to devour eats like Melon Soup, Hong Kong-style Honey BBQ Pork, and Soy Chicken, to name a few.

Even celebrities and food aficionados like Seth Rogen and David Chang are all about this spot, which recently closed in September to undergo renovations.

Now, just over two months later, our beloved HK BBQ Master is reopened and back in action.

The restaurant celebrated its opening over the weekend, showing off a larger dining area and updated interiors.

From what we saw, HK has a slightly different look but boasts the same legendary food (and lines of hungry patrons) that we always remembered.

Be sure to stop into this spot and check out the changes for yourself now that it’s open.
