A heavenly dessert shop from the U.K. is opening its first Vancouver location

Just a few weeks after we received word of its upcoming Surrey location, we spotted signs for Heavenly Desserts in Vancouver proper.
The new location is at 1482 Robson St., just steps away from recently opened establishments like Yunqueen Rice Noodles and the self-serve, 24/7 convenience store Aisle 24.

Heavenly Desserts started in 2008 in the U.K. but has since expanded to over 50 locations internationally. This restaurant serves up desserts as well as brunch, with items like waffles, milk cakes, crepes, and even cookie dough making an appearance.
In addition to its lineup of dessert offerings, the shop serves dessert shots, like its White Chocolate & Biscoff Shot made with silky Belgian white chocolate marbled with Biscoff, served with Biscotti.
The brand has also started rolling out sweet and savoury brunch options at select locations in Canada, but it’s not confirmed if this will be available at its Vancouver outpost yet. Options include a selection of French toast, pancakes, croffles, omelettes, shakshuka, and platters with all sorts of breakfast favourites.
As of now, there are only five locations across Canada: Mississauga, Pickering, Victoria, andĀ Edmonton, with Vancouver marking the brand’s sixth Canadian location and Surrey being its seventh.
“We have big ambitions for our Canadian restaurants, with the vision to create memorable dessert experiences that spark joy for every guest,” the team wrote on its website.
An opening date for Heavenly Desserts’ Vancouver location has yet to be announced.
