Vancouver's about to get a new specialty noodle restaurant — here's everything we know

We love diving into regional cuisines that aren’t always in the spotlight. We’ve seen a few restaurants pop up offering us a taste of lesser-seen eats, and here’s another one for your list
Yunqueen Rice Noodles, located at 1460 Robson St. and right beside the recently opened Aisle 24, is preparing to serve Vancouver Guo Qiao noodles (also known as “bridge noodles” or “crossing the bridge noodles”).
Yunqueen described these noodles as “a beloved specialty from Yunnan, China, that is famous for its steaming, rich, and hearty broth,” as well as for its silky noodles and fragrant toppings.

The secret to making its broth is a 13-step process that includes free-range chicken and pork bones simmered low and slow for over six hours. However, an exact menu for this spot has yet to be revealed.
