On Friday, June 1, Parq Vancouver’s grand ballroom will be transformed for the 13th annual Heart of Gold Gala.
It’s the Heart and Stroke Foundation‘s signature fundraiser which supports life-saving research breakthroughs, and by joining the event, you’ll be part of the foundation’s commitment to improving women’s heart health.
This year’s theme is New Orleans-inspired and it’s set to delight the senses with delicious food, wine, sounds, and experiences. The evening will commence with a live and silent auction, followed by a raffle and live entertainment.
You won’t want to miss this one.
Heart disease and stroke kill 31,000 women annually in Canada, according to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. However, stroke is far more deadly for women than men as nine in 10 women have at least one risk factor for heart disease or stroke.
