'We're incredibly grateful': Vancouver restaurant celebrates 30 years with $30 specials
This month, Havana Vancouver is celebrating an impressive 30 years on Commercial Drive, and is doing so with a month-long anniversary celebration honouring the people and community that have made the restaurant sauce an iconic part of the neighbourhood.
To mark the milestone, Havana is celebrating with three anniversary specials, each priced at $30. The deals include a cubano and margarita or sangria, a taco combo with margarita or sangria, and the anniversary sangria pitcher. These specials will be available throughout September.

Also, as part of the anniversary, Havana is looking beyond its own history to collect and share the stories of the people who have made the restaurant what it is.
For years, guests have left their names and messages on Havana’s walls and tables. Now the restaurant is inviting past and present guests to share the stories behind those names and memories through a special digital archive.
The archive will feature stories from former employees, longtime guests, neighbours, and friends of Havana, with the aim of curating a living collection of the moments that have taken place inside the restaurant over the past three decades.
