Havana restaurant employee tests positive for coronavirus

Popular Vancouver restaurant Havana has announced that one of its employees has tested positive for coronavirus.

The 1212 Commercial Drive eatery heard from the affected individual on Monday evening and chose to voluntarily close temporarily.

In a statement released on Tuesday, Havana said Vancouver Coastal Health believes that this case is of low risk to any guests.

The restaurant has asked all staff to self-monitor and get tested. No reopening date has been announced.
