McDonald's employee tests positive for coronavirus in Richmond

McDonald’s Canada has confirmed that an employee at one of its Metro Vancouver locations has tested positive for COVID-19.

On Monday, August 31, a McDonald’s employee who works at 8191 Alderbridge Way restaurant in Richmond reported that they had tested positive for coronavirus.

The employee’s last shift was on August 27 from 7 am to 3 pm. All staff who may have been in close contact with the employee have been asked to self-quarantine until further information is available.

This location was shut down for thorough cleaning and sanitation by a third party, but the restaurant has now reopened.

Patrons who may have visited this restaurant on August 27 are asked to take directions from the experts at the BC Centre for Disease Control.
