Skip the Lottery tickets for B.C.'s famous wine-fuelled half marathon go on sale next week
The Half Corked Marathon is releasing tickets for next year, and a limited number of Skip the Lottery tickets are planned to go on sale next week.
Returning to Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country on Saturday, May 29, 2027, this is the 19th year that the wine-fuelled marathon is taking place. Each year, 1,800 participants don colourful costumes while making their way through vineyards and enjoying winery stops along the way.
The celebration goes beyond the run as well, with plenty of events during the weekend of the marathon. The Tailgate Social will get things started on Thursday, May 27, followed by a block party on Friday, May 28, before Dinner at the Farm at Domaine Artema Winery on Saturday, May 29.
Half Corked Marathon
“The Half Corked Marathon has become a tradition for so many people because it captures everything that makes our region so special,” says Jennifer Busmann, executive director of Oliver Osoyoos Wine Country.
“From our incredible wineries and beautiful landscapes to the welcoming community and playful atmosphere, it’s a weekend unlike any other. Skip the Lottery tickets give guests the opportunity to start planning their getaway early and guarantee they won’t miss out.”
Traditionally, tickets are available through a lottery each fall, but these Skip the Lottery tickets offer eager planners an opportunity to secure their spot before the public draw.

Skip the Lottery tickets are available starting 8 a.m. PST on Tuesday, July 28, until sold out, with tickets costing $299 per person plus taxes and fees. Each ticket includes registration for the 2027 Half Corked marathon, lunch, wine tasting, and round-trip transportation from Oliver, Osoyoos, and Penticton to the start line and back following the event.
