Jersey Mike's is coming to Vancouver — here's when and where it'll open
We finally have confirmation on where and when Jersey Mike’s Subs will be opening in Vancouver.
In a press release, Jersey Mike’s shared that it will be opening in Kitsilano at 1864 W. 4th Ave., the former home of Purebread Bakery. An exact opening date has yet to be shared, but the sub chain was able to provide an anticipated October opening.
Rumours of a Vancouver location started circulating following the announcement that the beloved sandwich chain planned to open its first-ever B.C. location in Kelowna, which we also now have more details on.
The Kelowna location will be holding its grand opening on Wednesday, July 29, and will be hosting a fundraiser from then until Aug. 2 to support Make-A-Wish Canada. The fundraiser will allow guests who received a special fundraising coupon (distributed prior to the opening) to make a minimum $3 contribution to Make-A-Wish Canada in exchange for a regular sub.
“The wait is over for B.C. sub lovers looking for ‘A Sub Above,’ and we couldn’t be more pleased to introduce ourselves in the beautiful Okanagan Valley city of Kelowna,” said Ken Otto, CEO of Redberry, which owns and operates Jersey Mike’s locations across Canada.
“We encourage everyone to come out and try our fresh-sliced, fresh-grilled subs while also doing some good by supporting Make-A-Wish Canada in its mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.”

The sandwich chain got its start in 1956 on the Jersey Shore and claims to be one of the first submarine sandwich spots in the country.
On the menu, you can find a selection of fresh sliced cold subs and grilled hot subs. You can customize sandwich toppings, but the brand recommends ordering it Mike’s Way, which adds onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, and spices to your sub.
In 2024, the chain shared that it planned to open 300 locations across Canada.
But that’s not all for Jersey Mike’s B.C. expansion, as the chain also shared it will be opening an outpost in Chilliwack at 7670 Vedder Rd.
