Another Vancouver restaurant shares it will be closing all of its locations

Following the news that Matchstick would be closing all of its locations this month, beloved taco shop Gringo shared the unfortunate news that it too will be closing its three locations.
“Due to ongoing challenges it is with heavy hearts that Gringo Restaurants has made the difficult decision to dramatically downsize & decrease its operations,” wrote the taco shop on Instagram.

The first of its locations to close will be its Davie and Lonsdale outpost, which will both shutter on March 7.
Follow that, March 14 will be the last service at its Gastown location, a.k.a. its iconic Blood Alley outpost.
However, the taco shop is encouraging folks to stop by for one last taco before its final day of operation.
“As Winnie The Pooh would say ‘How lucky (we are) to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard,'” concluded Gringo.

Many took to the comments to share how much they would miss the taco shop.
“No. You need to at least keep blood alley. ššš” said one user.
“Devastated, where am I going to spend all my money now?” added another.
“Gringo has been my favourite bar ever since I moved to Canada four years ago. Every memorable night has ended up at Gringo for me – you will be missed,” shared a third.
