Canada’s first Gordon Ramsay Steak will open just outside Vancouver this weekend
It’s been a long wait, but the day has finally come. After first reporting on it back in 2023, we now have an official opening date for Gordon Ramsay Steak’s highly anticipated Metro Vancouver location, along with all the nitty-gritty details.
Firstly, the restaurant will have 266 seats and feature a main dining room, a vibrant bar and lounge, an outdoor marina terrace overlooking the Fraser River, and a private dining space.
Gordon Ramsay Steak shared that diners will be able to enjoy a menu that combines Chef Ramsay’s iconic signature dishes like his world-famous Beef Wellington and steak selections, including A5 Wagyu, Certified Angus, and numerous dry-aged specialties.

This spot will also feature exclusive offerings inspired by locally sourced ingredients like wild miso-glazed sablefish (marinated in miso soy and glazed with a bourbon-aged miso maple syrup, served with stir-fried vegetables in shellfish dashi) and wild bluefin tuna tartare (high-grade bluefin tuna tossed in a house-made ponzu sauce and garnished with avocado and cucumber scales).

Located at Richmond’s River Rock Casino Resort, this will be the second concept to arrive in Metro Vancouver from the famous chef, known for his incredible catchphrases like “idiot sandwich” and, more importantly, his steadily growing empire of restaurant chains all over the globe and now, here in BC.
The TV personality and acclaimed culinary figure launched one of his more casual restaurants, Gordon Ramsay Burger, at the Great Canadian Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam last December.

Gordon Ramsay Steak will be open for dinner daily from 5 pm with reservations available starting on January 12, with reservations available via OpenTable.
