You may have heard the news that Krispy Kreme is gearing up to open its first Vancouver location, but another donut brand is also preparing to open its first location in the city: Goldie’s Donuts.

Goldie’s Donuts opened its first Metro Vancouver location just last year in West Vancouver. Here, the donut shop was serving up fluffy brioche donuts fermented for 24 hours with delicious cream fillings and glazes, all made in-house.

Later, Goldie’s opened a Langley location, drawing lines and selling out during the first weeks of opening. Fast forward to today, and Goldie’s is continuing its takeover of the Metro Vancouver donut scene, this time with its first location in Vancouver proper.

The donut brand, which hails from Korea, confirmed to Dished that it’ll be opening a new location at 3932 Fraser St. in Vancouver, adding that it is approximately two to three weeks out from opening, depending on how fast the city processes its business licence.

Here, customers can expect the full array of donuts they’ve grown to love from Goldie’s, as well as some exclusive donut offerings only available at its Vancouver location.

On Goldie’s Instagram, it shared that each flavour of donut is created at Goldie’s HQ, where one of its ā€œDonut Professorsā€ spends countless hours developing new creations. Some of these flavours include strawberry milkshake, vanilla custard cream, custard corn cream, cronuts (croissant donuts), mango passionfruit glaze, and many more.

Goldie’s also serves plenty of coffee offerings, alongside a signature drink menu.
