Homicide team investigating body found under Golden Ears Bridge

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) and the Ridge Meadows RCMP are working together after a body was found under the Golden Ears Bridge.
RCMP came to assist fire crews on Sunday, November 18 just after 11:30 am, in the 20000-block of Wharf Street.
The body of an adult male was discovered and appears to be the victim of a homicide.
The age and identity of the individual have been withheld at this time.
Although the investigation remains in early stages, officials have reason to believe the incident was targeted.
