An epic new food truck is hitting the streets of Vancouver tomorrow (PHOTOS)
One of Vancouver’s favourite local food trucks, the Frying Pan, is expanding.
The purveyor of fried chicken and fries has been operating from its 505 Burrard Street location during the weekdays, and now, there’s going to be another place to get its epic offerings.
‘Frying Pan 2’ is softly opening on September 19 from 11 am to 3 pm. Located at 900 W Cordova Street, this new truck will serve as the perfect spot to grab a filling lunch for people and tourists in the bustling downtown area.
But the Frying Pan is not just simply adding another vehicle to the fleet, it’s adding a new menu, which will be available only at the new truck.

The star of the show will be the Cheese Chicken Sandwich – it won’t be available right at the launch of Frying Pan 2, but best believe it’s coming (and it’s amazing).
What you can get starting September 19, is the Fried Chicken Burger in several different varieties including No heat! Real cheese, Hot & Sweet! Honey garlic, Feel the burn! Medium spicy, Firestarter! Extra spicy, and Call 911! Super spicy.

Other offerings up for order include Dirty Fries (hot chicken, bulgogi, and cheese flavours) and Korean pan-fried tacos (two in one order).
For tacos, folks can choose from Bulgogi, Bulgogi & Kimchi, Hot chicken, and Kids Cheese (only cheese).

Wash all that down with a new Cinnamon Roasted Grain Tea from the truck, and you will 100% be in a very pleasant but intense food coma.
