One of Vancouver’s – and Jason Momoa’s – favourite ramen spots, Marutama Ra-men, is officially opening its new location today in Burnaby’s Metrotown area.
The must-try shop hails from Tokyo and already operates three Vancouver locations, and now, the brand has made its first foray into Metro Vancouver’s food scene.

Known as the ‘pioneer of Tori-Paitan’ ramen, Marutama will be opening an outpost where Raijin Ramen previously operated, at 5278 Kingsway in Burnaby.

The Marutama Ra-men team tells Daily Hive that its new location will be operating under soft opening hours – Tuesday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 8 pm.
Looks like this new spot opened just in time for ramen weather…happy slurping!
