Cheese ice cream, monster shakes, and more treats you'll flip for at this new dessert cafe
There’s a new Filipino dessert spot that is turning out some seriously colourful desserts with super exciting flavours. FlipSide Desserts on Joyce opened in June, and they’ve got some seriously epic “monster” shakes, cakes, waffles, ice cream, and more.
In flavours like pandan, melon, chocolate, avocado, and taro, FlipSide’s treats are perfect for anyone with a major sweet tooth.
Get a trio of treats all in one sitting, like when you get their new “Melon Monster Milk Shake” which is made with creamy melon ice cream slush surrounded with butterscotch syrup, and comes with a side of melon ice cream smothered in sweetened condensed milk AND a slice of cheesecake.
Or do the same with Taro…and get the giant shake, ice cream, and a piece of their purply-good taro cake.
Waffles can be ordered up stuffed with a warm taro filling, or in mini form–which you can get topped with your pick from their ice creams. They’ve got flavours like halo halo, pandan, vanilla and more. They even have made a cheese-based flavour called Quezo!
If you’re thinking these kinds of treats are ideal for satisfying a late night sweet craving, lucky for you; FlipSide is open to midnight weeknights and to 1 am on weekends. Get it!

FlipSide Desserts is open Tuesday to Thursday from 3 pm to midnight, Fridays from 3 pm to 1 am, and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 1 am.
