Get an epic 10-course Summer Tasting Menu at Torafuku for only $40

It’s been two years since modern Asian eatery Torafuku opened its doors in Strathcona, and if you haven’t been yet – you’re missing out.
Known for its flavourful Eastern eats with tongue-in-cheek names inspired by pop culture, this spot’s new $40, 10-course Summer Tasting Menu will have you making a reso at its sleek and modern Main Street dining room ASAP.

Lucky Dumplings, roasted eggplant and garlic caviar, basil, spinach, king oyster mushrooms, blistered tomatoes, angry tiger vinaigrette (Hanna McLean/Daily Hive)
The menu is $40 per person, and depending on how many people are in your party, you can expect slightly different portions/dishes on any various night.
For instance, if you’ve got four at your table, you can most likely expect the mother of all fish dishes – AKA Gone Fishing. Nothing like a whole market fish with tamarind, shallots, garlic, coriander, and fuku hot sauce, right?

The cocktail pairing for this meal is currently a $10 add-on for five cocktails. Yes, you read that right, five. (Okay, fine, they are scaled down in size, but the variety is still there!)
So when you break that down, you get five gorgeous cocktails, and 10 food courses for only $50.
