Ice cream sandwiches may have been your favourite summertime dessert as a kid, but these days, the sweet treat is all grown up. From all-vegan versions to cookies pressing together ice cream made with liquid nitrogen, and a whole lot of other fresh, local, and creative takes in between (pun intended), Vancouver’s got ice cream sandwiches on lock.

Here are nine places that make must-try ice cream sandwiches in Vancouver right now.

Oreo cookie crust presses their fresh, creamy ice cream in flavours like Creme Brulee, or try something like their newer strawberry mint and dark chocolate ice cream sandwich.
