Popular Metro Vancouver bakery closes one of its two locations after a year of operation

It’s been a tough month for the restaurant industry, with many eateries announcing closures. Now, we just received word of another spot closing its White Rock outpost: Fieldstone Bread.
“We have made the difficult decision to close our White Rock location, effective immediately,” shared the bakery. “This change allows us to consolidate all our passion, energy, and resources back into where it all began: our original Ocean Park bakery! We’re focusing on ensuring our flagship location is fully prepared just in time for the busy Christmas season.”

Fieldstone has been operating for 30 years at its Ocean Park location in South Surrey, where it bakes bread in a French stone-hearth oven using a process that’s been around for 500 years.
It also sells a variety of cakes, cookies, savoury options like sausage rolls, and more.
“We are committed to keeping that legacy strong and delivering the absolute best holiday breads and treats this year,” added Fieldstone. “We hope you’ll continue to join us for the quality bread and pastries you know and love at the Fieldstone Bread Ocean Park location!”
