FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Playing catch with dear ol’ dad is a timeless activity, and this Father’s Day, the Vancouver Canadians are inviting everyone out to a special event at Nat Bailey Stadium to do just that.
Taking place on Sunday, June 17, between 1 pm and 3 pm, the club’s annual Father’s Day catch is fun for the whole family.
Admission is free and attendees are encouraged to bring their own baseballs and gloves, as well as sport the traditional Canadians team colours of red and white.
“Families can enjoy dad’s special day outside by warming up the field for our city’s baseball heroes with a good old fashioned game of catch,” the organizations said in a statement.
The Vancouver Canadians open this season on the road against the Eugene Emeralds from June 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19.
They return to Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium on Wednesday, June 20 at 7:05 pm, to welcome the Everett Aquasox (Mariners) for the home opener.
Tickets to Vancouver Canadians Baseball can be purchased now, by calling 604.872.5232, online, or by visiting the Nat Bailey Stadium Box Office, located at 4601 Ontario Street.
