Father’s Day is coming up quick, and this year it lands on June 17, so we urge you to take things up a notch when it comes to planning your feast for dear old dad.
Here are some restaurants doing special spreads for Father’s Day in Vancouver.
This spot will be offering a three-course prime rib dinner on Father’s Day. Guests can choose between classic caesar salad, mushroom soup, or clam chowder to start, enjoy a 10 oz roasted prime rib with Yorkshire pudding as a main, and finish off with house-made chocolate cake or sunburnt lemon tart. This spread is $42.50 per person.

Juke is offering a Southern-fried feast designed just for Dad on the 17. This spread includes a full rack of sauce-slathered sticky pork ribs, 10 pieces of fried chicken, peanut slaw, fries, gravy, biscuits with whipped schmaltz, chicharrón cheezies (pork rinds), and a bottle of Juke’s signature hot sauce to take home. Priced at $75, the spread is available in the dining room or for take-out.

Head to the Teahouse in Stanley Park to get in on their Father’s Day special of a 12 oz prime rib dinner with a Yorkshire pudding, dauphinoise potatoes, and green beans for $45.

The feature Father’s Day dish at Minami is a Sous-Vide Prime Rib for $50, made from 10 oz sterling silver, miso scalloped potato casserole, roasted farmers market vegetables, wasabi-negi relish, and truffled peppercorn duxelle. Add a butter poached lobster tail for $16.

H2’s weekend Father’s Day brunch runs from 11:45 am to 3 pm for $39 a person and even features a Caesar cart (additional charge applies). For dinner on June 17 from 5 pm onwards, H2 will be offering a table-side carved prime rib rotisserie with optional whisky pairings. This dinner is $42 per person.
