There’s no need to feel crabby — the False Creek Crab Fest is returning to Vancouver this summer for its third year in a row.

The mouthwatering festivities will take place at the False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf on Sunday, July 6, from noon to 5 p.m..

Attendees will enjoy the region’s plentiful bounty of Pacific Northwest seafood with a Dungeness crab boil prepared by Chef Vish Mayekar (of ELEM and as seen on Top Chef Canada season 10) and Johnny Bridge (President of Chef’s Table Society).

The festival will also feature refreshing beverages, live music, games and some stunning waterfront views. Tickets are on sale now.

“Chef Vish & I are thrilled to support the hardworking BC Crab Fishers by volunteering to prepare the Dungeness Crab Boil for guests,” said Johnny Bridge, president of Chefs’ Table Society of B.C., in a release.

“The collaboration between fishers and chefs highlights the support we offer each other.”

False Creek Crab Fest is organized by the B.C. Crab Fishermen’s Association and the Chefs’ Table Society of B.C., with support from False Creek Fishermen’s Wharf. The event is also funded by the B.C. government’s Buy B.C. Partnership Program, delivered by MNP LLP with funding from the Government of British Columbia.
