Vancouver coffee bar and equipment store announces closure and people are heartbroken
The Vancouver restaurant and cafe closures show no sign of stopping, and we have just received word that another spot is planning on closing its doors: Espressotec.
Located at 1015 Clark Dr., Vancouver, Espressotec is a coffee equipment store where you can find a wide variety of equipment, beans, milk alternatives, and more. It’s also home to Roaster Central, a coffee-tasting bar.
“The rising costs of operations have made it difficult to sustain our brick-and-mortar space,” shared the store on its Instagram.

However, Espressotec reassured customers that this isn’t a permanent goodbye.
“We remain committed to bringing you the best in coffee experience, now through our online store,” said the store.
“Thank you for your incredible support over the years — every visit, every conversation, and every shared love for great coffee has meant the world to us.”

Many people took to the comments of the Instagram post to express how much they’d miss his brick-and-mortar location.
“So sad, every time my wife and I visit Vancouver we like to include a visit to Espressotec. Sorry to hear you have to close the doors,” said one user.
“Sorry it’s come to this. I smile every time I pass by and have always enjoyed coming in,” said another.
“So sad to hear, I love that store, OMG, miss you for ever,” shared a third.
Espressotec has yet to share an exact closing date. Dished has reached out for more information.
