Much-loved Vancouver breakfast joint to close after 15 years of operation

Dec 5 2019, 6:08 pm

It saddens us to write that yet another popular old-school breakfast spot is closing up shop this week.

Dockers Family Restaurant, located at 6094 Fraser Street (45th & Fraser), posted a notice on its door recently to let customers know that its last day of business would be December 8, 2019.

The daytime eatery has been operating for 15 years in Vancouver. It’s known for its generous portions of classic breakfast platters and hearty sub sandwiches.

Dockers Family Restaurant thanked patrons for their loyalty. Be sure to stop in between now and Sunday to get your fix of that last Super Sub while you can.

This is the latest closure in a series of mom-and-pop spots that have shuttered in Vancouver over the past few months, including The Spot Cafe, The Nice Cafe, and the last remaining location of Jethro’s Fine Grub.
