North Vancouver RCMP are investigating after a cyclist was killed in a collision with a dump truck on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, both the cyclist and the dump truck were travelling westbound in the 100 block of West Esplande around 1:45 pm when the accident occurred.

The cyclist, a 55-year-old North Vancouver resident, died at the scene.
Police said the exact cause of the accident is still undetermined and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) team has been tasked to assist in the accident investigation.
Police are taking statements from witnesses and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, who has not already spoken with police to contact them at 604-985-1311, and quote file #2019-2305.
