New authentic Chinese restaurant just opened in Vancouver

A new Vancouver restaurant called The Cozy Wok has just opened its doors, and it’s promising to serve authentic Chinese dishes, cocktails and more.
The restaurant has opened its doors at 854 Denman St., which was the former home of Jinmi Juga, the Korean pub concept from the team behind the soy-marinated crab restaurant Jinmi.
At The Cozy Wok, you’ll find dishes like Wok Fried Squid with Black Bean Sauce, Spicy Mongolian Beef, Roast Duck Lettuce Wraps, and more. It also serves a variety of desserts like Donut Puffballs, Hong Kong Style Vanilla Panna Cotta, and Mango Pamelo Sago.
“From sizzling woks to shareable favourites, this is what bold Chinese flavours looks like,” wrote the restaurant. “Come taste the colour, the heat, the crunch, the comfort.”

Additionally, it’s advertising some happy hour specials that are available daily from 2 to 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. until close. This includes deals like $5 off shareables, $10 cocktails, and $5 beer and highballs.
