New whisky and cocktail bar to open in downtown Vancouver
It’s no secret that Vancouver has a top-notch bar scene. From exciting new openings to all of the award-winning bars throughout the city, Vancouver is definitely a must-visit for those looking to grab a drink. Now, a newcomer is preparing to enter the scene: The Cordova Room.
Located in the heart of Gastown, the Cordova Room promises to offer a warm, dark, and moody escape for cocktail lovers.
“We specialize in whiskey and cocktails made from scratch, each one carefully balanced and poured with precision,” wrote the bar. “Whether youāre sipping a rare single malt or a house creation, every glass tells a story of craftsmanship and care.”

The Cordova Room also said its space is designed with intention, featuring dark green walls, warm wood, and golden details that it said will “set the tone for an evening that feels both timeless and modern.”
“Whether celebrating with friends or enjoying a quiet drink, every detail is crafted to elevate your experience, turning simple cocktails into lasting memories.”
The Cordova Room has yet to release its menu, but online it lists that it will be serving food using local ingredients and drinks all day.
Additionally, an exact opening date for the bar hasn’t been announced yet, but it is expected to open sometime this October.
