One of Coquitlam’s most popular summer programs, the Neighbourhood Nights, is returning for its fourth year.
And while many great events are planned in Coquitlam throughout the summer, this can’t-miss program will bring some free family fun to eight Coquitlam parks, including Victoria Park, Glen Park, and Mundy Park, just to name a few.
The series aims to serve as a great opportunity for neighbours to connect and have fun together, while strengthening neighbourhood relationships and safety.
The first neighbourhood night will kick off at 6 pm in Blue Mountain Park this Thursday, July 5. The night will be packed with fun activities including face painting, arts and crafts, light refreshments, kids’ games, and sports.
Presented by FortisBC and led by the City of Coquitlam’s Outdoor Recreation Team, the program is expected to attract thousands of Coquitlam residents.
Event-goers are encouraged to wear casual sporty clothing and to bring a blanket or chair to sit on. And while light refreshments will be provided, event-goers should also bring extra water and snacks.
