BC’s biggest, highly-anticipated (and free) multicultural celebration is happening this month.
On Saturday, July 21, and Sunday, July 22, the 11th annual Surrey Fusion Festival will be taking over Holland Park in Surrey for two exciting days packed with food, music, and culture.
Presented by Coast Capital Savings, this year’s event sees Canadian band Walk Off The Earth bring their high energy beats to the main stage on July 21. International Punjabi pop-star Ranjit Bawa headlines on July 22, with support from local DJ and producer Khanvict.
The festival will also see performances by Grammy award winner Ricky Kej and the Surrey City Orchestra, reggae surf-rock band John Welsh & Los Valientes, Brazilian capoeira performers Aché Brasil, and many more.
There’s also going to be more than 150 performers on six stages including a cooking stage, a kid’s zone, and an Indigenous village.

This year’s festival is set to feature over 50 cultural pavilions representing different cultures from around the globe through food, music and culture. It’s the only place in Metro Vancouver where you can taste momo’s from Nepal, meat patties from Jamaica, perogies from Ukraine, and poutine from Canada, all in one afternoon.

Food sensitivities? Don’t worry! The festival appeals to all, with all pavilions labelling their vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, gluten free, nut free and halal options at this year’s event.
