Cinema Public House is not a new addition to the downtown Vancouver pub scene, but the bar and restaurant just got a serious makeover, and the menu has upped its game too.

Initially built when liquor licensing still required that the restaurant and bar sides be kept separate, things have changed and now, so has the 901 Granville Street space.

The Donnelly Group did a full renovation on this spot, including tearing down the dividing wall, opening up the entrance alcove, brightening the colour scheme, and changing the seating layout to offer more flexible high-top seating.

Folks who head to the fresh eatery can expect new furniture, a banquette along the back wall, new TVs and art, and added plants for brightness.

Cinema will also be changing the patio seating layout to be street-facing.

The space isn’t the only thing that’s gotten a revamp here, a new array of dishes have been added too.

Think Queso Dip, Perogies, Onion Rings, Coconut Curry Noodles, and a handful of new pizzas too.
