Chaser’s owners told Daily Hive that they decided to close the Mainland Street shop for a few reasons. Their five-year lease was up, the rent increase was over 50%, and the juicing business had also outgrown their space years ago.
The Chaser’s team has purchased a new larger location in the Strathcona Village building at 941 East Hastings. This spot is three times the size of their current digs and will allow the brand to facilitate the demand of their commercial business of making fresh-squeezed juices and old-fashioned Kombucha.
While Chaser’s will no longer have a storefront, customers will still be able after to come to the new facility and grab a juice cleanses.
