It’s a sad story for burrito lovers, well, Steamrollers burrito lovers in particular.
This family of restaurants, known for their steam-cooked burritos, is down two more locations as of Saturday, April 28.
- 'Escobar' owners respond to backlash over controversial restaurant name
- End of an era: Staple of Vancouver's food scene closes its doors
- One of Downtown Vancouver's favourite tapas bars has closed
The Robson Street location (1195 Robson Street) is completely shuttered after its last weekend of operation, and the West Broadway store (693 West Broadway) has been marked “Permanently Closed” online, pair that with a disconnected phone number and it’s pretty safe to say this location has shut its doors for good.
These two recent closures come just a year after their Davie Street and Hornby Street locations closed up shop.
With all four of their locations now shuttered, Steamrollers is officially out of the Vancouver food game for the moment.
Daily Hive reached out to Steamrollers HQ for comment and any plans for future restaurants, but their number is also out of service.
We’ll keep you posted on any news of this local burrito maker’s return.
