Vancouver Canucks have a job posting up for Rogers Arena DJ
Vancouver Canucks games will sound different next season.
The team is on the hunt for a new DJ after Tom Fleming announced his departure from the organization last week. Fleming had been the Canucks’ in-house DJ since 2021.
Other local DJs that have held the role in the past two decades include DJ Barron S, Jay Swing, Marlon J English, and DJ Dave.
“We’re hiring our next in-arena DJ,” the Canucks announced via social media on Monday. “You’ll be the one setting the tone for every Canucks home game — building playlists and keeping Rogers Arena electric from puck drop to final buzzer.”

The job posting notes the in-arena DJ is responsible for attending all home games and creating playlists for a wide variety of tastes. Makes sense, given the job requires playing songs for over 18,000 fans that have wildly different music preferences.
Requirements include a “proven ability to perform in front of a live audience,” an ability to “hype up the crowd while maintaining a professional manner,” and a “proven ability to collaborate and work well with the team.”
The job posting, which does not include wage information, also notes the position is part-time for the 2026-27 season.
“Interested, qualified candidates are invited to submit their resume and demo reel or set that displays their musical personality.”
