Canucks analyst Landon Ferraro lands new job with TSN: report
After two years on Vancouver Canucks television broadcasts with Sportsnet, it appears Landon Ferraro is heading to Winnipeg.
Sports media insider Jonah Sigel is reporting that Ferraro will soon be announced as the new colour commentator for Winnipeg Jets broadcasts on TSN. It’s a job that opened up recently, as Kevin Sawyer landed a job as Sportsnet’s new Calgary Flames colour commentator.
Following in his father Ray Ferraro’s footsteps, Landon made the move to media after a 12-year pro hockey playing career that ended in 2023.

The 35-year-old Trail, B.C. native featured on Sportsnet television broadcasts during Canucks home games the past two seasons, joining Dan Murphy and Satiar Shah on the intermission panel. Landon was also a regular contributor on Sportsnet 650 radio, which included time in the broadcast booth, before the station shut down.
The hockey media landscape is undergoing a bit of a game of musical chairs this summer. Sportsnet radio stations were shuttered in Vancouver and Calgary. NHL games will no longer be seen on CBC, as Hockey Night in Canada as we know it is gone.
Kelly Hrudey is not being brought back by Sportsnet, while rumours swirl about what other changes may be coming. Sigel has also reported that Elliotte Friedman and Kevin Bieksa are each still without contracts.
Canucks games will be on radio next season, on 104.9 FM. Brendan Batchelor and Randip Janda will feature on the call, with more details about the broadcast yet to be announced. No major changes are expected on the television side, as John Shorthouse recently signed a four-year contract.
