After the success of “super jackpots” this season, the Vancouver Canucks have announced that their next online 50/50 draw is guaranteed to surpass $1 million.

The next 50/50 raffle will combine Game 2 and Game 3 of the Canucks’ playoff series against the Vegas Golden Knights, with the draw taking place on Thursday, August 27 at 9:30 pm PT.

A minimum take-home prize of $500,000 for the winner has been guaranteed by Ascend FS, with the remaining money going to the Canucks for Kids Fund, which supports local charities like the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Tickets are available for purchase right now for people 19 years of age and older, for the following prices:

  • 3 tickets for $5
  • 7 tickets for $10
  • 50 tickets for $20
  • 150 tickets for $50

The $1 million jackpot is more than five times higher than Sunday’s jackpot for Game 1. The largest jackpot of the playoffs was during the Canucks’ series-clinching game against the St. Louis Blues on Friday when it reached $364,685.

Tickets can also now be purchased at the Canucks Marketplace, which can be entered by car or foot from Expo Boulevard, across the street from Costco.

Canucks Marketplace has been the lone place to buy Canucks merchandise direct from the team, but that will change this week when the Canucks Team Store reopens. Located at Rogers Arena near the corner of Pacific Boulevard and Pat Quinn Way, the Canucks Team Store has been boarded up for more than five months, but reopens to the public on Wednesday.
