The Vancouver Canucks aren’t fooling around with the 50/50 this season.

The Canucks for Kids Fund has partnered with Ascend FS for three 50/50″super jackpot” games in 2019-20. The 50/50 jackpot will surpass $1 million on two occasions, and will be at least half a million dollars for the home opener next week.

The first super jackpot will take place on Wednesday, October 9, as the Canucks’ first home game against the Los Angeles Kings promises an estimated jackpot of over $500,000.

The Canucks say the opening night jackpot was made possible in part because of $312,620 in unclaimed prizes from last season.

Two games will have an estimated 50/50 super jackpot of $1 million, meaning the prize winners receive a minimum of $500,000.

Those jackpots will be available on Tuesday, December 10 against the Toronto Maple Leafs and Saturday, February 22 against the Boston Bruins.

Last November, the Canucks 50/50 against the Los Angeles Kings set a world record, with the total jackpot hitting $1,413,630 — the winner took home $706,815.

Half of every 50/50 jackpot supports the Canucks for Kids Fund, benefitting the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, and the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Raffle tickets can be purchased at the game or online at canucks.com/5050 for fans living in British Columbia.
