Popular Filipino fast food giant Jollibee has announced its massive Canadian expansion plans.

In an interview with CityNews, CEO of Jollibee, Ernesto Tanmantiong, announced the popular fast-food chain is planning on opening 100 locations across Canada in the next five years.

Tanmantiong says this will happen with the “continued support of the people of Canada.”

There are currently three Jollibee locations open in Canada, one in Scarborough and two in Winnipeg, with a fourth location opening in Mississauga later this year.

Toronto’s first Jollibee location continues to attract big lineups, as hungry patrons are still flocking to Scarborough get their fried chicken fix.

For those who have yet to try Jollibee, you can look forward to dishes like Jolly Crispy Chicken by the bucket or in combos with a choice of sides including fries, steamed rice, buttered corn, and mashed potatoes and gravy.

And the fried chicken can also be paired with sweet, hot-dog-studded Jolly Spaghetti, or with shrimp, egg, and pork crackling-topped Palabok Fiesta.

Yum Burgers, Jollibee’s signature cheeseburgers, Burger Steaks blanketed in gravy and mushrooms with a side of rice, and deep fried Peach-Mango hand-pies are also popular menu items.

Since there are no other details available regarding the chain’s Canadian expansion plans, we’ll just leave you with this video highlighting Jollibee’s first Toronto location for now.

And the hope that you’ll soon be able to visit one near you in the not-so-distant future.
