Here are 10 different Canada Day fireworks celebrations happening in Metro Vancouver

No matter where you live or where you’ll be in Metro Vancouver, there’ll be no end of celebrations and parties coming this Canada Day.

In addition to free concerts, a plethora of food trucks, and countless games and activities, there will also be a number of firework shows taking place once nighttime comes.

To help end your Canada Day with a bang this year, here are 10 different fireworks shows taking place in Metro Vancouver.

Downtown Vancouver

Metro Vancouver’s only two-barge firework show will make its annual return to the Burrard Inlet. Both barges are rather spread out, however, with one barge catering to downtown Vancouver and the other being located near Dundarave in West Vancouver.

West Vancouver

The second stage for Burrard Inlet’s two-barge display, the barge at Dundarave will provide a show to residents on the North Shore. Various celebrations can also be found across North and West Vancouver during the daytime.

Burnaby

Swanguard Stadium/City of Burnaby

Fireworks will follow a free concert and daytime celebrations held at Swanguard Stadium. The gates at Swanguard open at 5 pm, the concert begins at 6 pm and the fireworks will begin at dusk.

New Westminster

New Westminster

An eye-catching display of pyrotechnics will light up the sky over the Fraser River, accompanied with live music, and Hyack Festival’s market during the day.

White Rock

Along with food trucks and a charity BBQ, White Rock’s Canada Day by the Bay will conclude with fireworks at 10:15 pm.

Surrey

A fireworks finale that starts at 10:30 pm will conclude a night of free concerts including country stars Brett Kissel and Serena Ryder.

Richmond/Steveston

Canada Day/City of Richmond

A fantastic display of fireworks will take to the beautiful Steveston waterfront in Richmond. Live concerts and a fire show will also take place at the event.

Coquitlam

The largest event in the Tri-Cities includes a range of ethnic and regional food, activities, and a fireworks celebration that begins at 10 pm.

Port Coquitlam 

At dusk, a day-long Canada Day celebration will conclude with a fireworks display put on by local firefighters.

Abbotsford

Following a Canada Day parade in the morning and live concerts throughout the day, a fireworks celebration will cap off the party held at Abbotsford Exhibition Park.
