Canada's biggest bubble tea festival comes to Metro Vancouver this weekend

Calling all boba lovers! The Canada Bubble Tea Festival is returning to Metro Vancouver this weekend, and there’s lots to look forward to.
This shindig — which coins itself as the largest of its kind in Canada — is happening from Aug. 9 to 10 at Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium.
Thousands of attendees are expected to enjoy exciting live performances, interactive games, and, of course, delicious food and drinks
The best part is that admission to the Canada Bubble Tea Festival is free.

Last year, the event featured 25 street food and bubble tea vendors serving up tasty eats and sips.
Some of the vendors listed on the website for 2025 include favourites like Bao Buns, Bubble World, and Chatime.

This year’s event will also showcase live performances, a dedicated kids zone, a pickleball zone, and a “Bubble Beat Galaxy” sober energy party.
To keep the party vibes going, DJs will be spinning from 2 to 5 p.m. There will also be dance crew performances and live busking all day.
Plus, the first 100 guests with a drink at the Canada Bubble Tea Festival will receive a free pastry, so make sure to arrive early.
