Whether it’s Texas-style, Memphis-style, or whatever-dad’s-doing-with-his-spatula-style, we are seriously into one particular style offered at a Vancouver restaurant.
Cacao, located at 1898 West 1st Avenue, will be offering a special Latin American-style all-day barbeque on Saturdays starting May 18, and it all kicks off at 11 am!
Each edition of the barbeque will include a special set menu of dishes cooked on an open fire grill (Parrillado Asado) which will be set up on the restaurant’s sidewalk.

Attendees can expect an asado include steak, morcilla (blood sausage), chorizo sausage, chicken, and a side of veggies with yuca fries and stellar sauces like chimichurri guasacaca.
This stunning spread costs $35 for one person, $60 for two people, or $110 for four people.
In addition to these offerings, folks can opt for Grilled Bransino for $45 for two people and a la carte sides like salad and arepas too.
This barbeque will run until after Labour Day, so be sure to get to this Kitsilano gem and try it yourself before then!
