Bruno Mars is taking the mic at Stadium-Chinatown Station, adding a famous voice to SkyTrain during his Vancouver concert run.
After inviting public transit riders to play musical detective with a series of emoji clues, TransLink has officially confirmed the singer as SkyTrain’s newest celebrity guest voice — and its first music artist to take on the role.
Starting today, Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2026, passengers passing through Stadium-Chinatown Station will hear a special pre-recorded voice announcement from Mars periodically on the days of his five BC Place Stadium concerts. His message will join the station’s usual announcements.

Those grabbing a drink or a bite to eat in Yaletown before or after the concert may spot a giant light-up sign spelling out “Marry You.”
The sign is, of course, a reference to the seven-times platinum hit from 2010 of the same name, and makes the perfect backdrop for any Bruno Mars fan.
And keep an eye out for the 24K Magic sign, too!
Just be careful if you’re not actually ready to pop the question yet.
