Local burger chain continues Metro Vancouver takeover with two new locations

Blaze Gourmet Burgers has taken Metro Vancouver by storm ever since it started as a ghost kitchen in Mount Pleasant back in 2019, growing to now operate multiple outposts in Vancouver and beyond. And the chain shows no signs of stopping with the opening of its latest cafe concept, in addition to its new Port Moody location, expected to open soon.
Blaze recently opened the doors to its brand new cafe concept in Vancouver’s City Square, introducing its first cafe-style store to the city.
Here, the team has switched from its typical burger offerings and has shifted to pastries, coffee, and tea. Offerings included its signature Bali Iced Latte and a matcha selection.
“Designed with a modern, welcoming atmosphere, the City Square café reflects Blaze’s continued evolution while staying true to its focus on quality and experience,” wrote Blaze. “Whether you’re grabbing a drink to-go or taking a moment to unwind, the new café offers a refined yet approachable space in the heart of the city.”

But don’t worry, Blaze isn’t dropping its burger offerings altogether. In addition to all of its burger outposts, it’s preparing to open the doors to a new Port Moody burger outpost.

Guests can choose from beef, chicken, or vegan options, making it a go-to spot for groups with different preferences and lifestyles,” said the burger chain. “With its focus on quality ingredients, flavour-forward creations, and shareable experiences, Blaze continues to grow as a standout name in Vancouver’s food scene.”
An exact opening date for its new Port Moody location has yet to be announced.
