BCAA's Evolve E-Bike Share expands to eastern North Shore areas, including Deep Cove

Five months after launching its initial operations on the North Shore, BCAA’s Evolve E-Bike Share is making a notable service expansion by rolling into the easternmost areas of North Vancouver.
BCAA announced today it will be expanding its service area along Dollarton Highway into the Parkgate and Deep Cove neighbourhoods, adding e-bike parking stations in the area to enable more users to get around the North Shore.
This includes adding four new e-bike parking stations within the reserve lands of the Tsleil-Waututh First Nation and additional stations within the jurisdiction of the District of North Vancouver. As well, BCAA is providing the First Nations members a discount of over 70 per cent off standard pricing across all Evolve service areas.
“We are incredibly proud to deepen our North Shore connections by expanding east into Deep Cove and by starting this meaningful partnership with the Tsleil-Waututh Nation,” shared Leanne Buhler, head of Evolve, in a statement.
“The value of this collaboration lies in making accessible, active transportation a reality for everyone. Our benefit rate for Tsleil-Waututh Nation Members underscores our commitment to inclusive access to convenient, active travel choices and strong community collaboration to ensure our services bring real benefits to everyone we serve.”
In late June 2025, BCAA’s Evolve E-Bike Share service filled the gap left by Lime’s withdrawal from the North Shore. Following a procurement process seeking a permanent operator to replace the previous pilot project, the City of North Vancouver — which also oversees shared micro-mobility services on behalf of the District of North Vancouver and the District of West Vancouver — selected the local operator over the San Francisco-based global company.
Evolve’s shared micro-mobility services are also found at the Cowichan Valley, Langford, Whistler, Squamish, Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby Mountain campus, and Nanaimo, including the Hullo Ferries terminal. It uses the same smartphone app as BCAA’s Evo Car Share.
