Coronavirus exposure alert issued for Surrey sports bar

Fraser Health issued a coronavirus exposure alert Wednesday for a pub in Surrey after someone was on the premises while contagious.

Baselines Pub in the Fleetwood neighbourhood had someone who was infected on site from October 23 to October 26.

The exposure alert applies for 5 pm to 11 pm on October 23 and 24, 9:30 pm to 11 pm on October 25, and 5 pm to 11 pm on October 26.

The health authority says close contacts of the infected individual will receive calls directly from public health staff. Those who visited the bar at the times listed should monitor closely for symptoms for 14 days after exposure.
